Aboriginal Admissions, University of British Columbia
The Aboriginal admission process for the MD Undergraduate Program has a target of 5% of the annual complement of funded seats in the first year class.
Admissions programme for First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis candidates, University of Ottawa
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa has established a dedicated admissions program for candidates of Aboriginal ancestry. Currently, up to seven seats are reserved for this program and students will compete for a position within this cohort only.
Education Equity Program, University of Saskatchewan
This program encourages Aboriginal students to enroll in and graduate from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. Each year there are two spaces for each program in the first year spots for aboriginal students.

The committee’s mission is to create, teach, and develop knowledge and skills specific to the discipline of Aboriginal Health and Healing and meld the traditional teachings with Western-based teachings in health and well-being.
